If your safety eyewear fits poorly or incorrectly, you're putting yourself at a higher risk of injury. Head and face shapes vary considerably, so it's impossible to find one pair that works for everyone. When trying on new safety eyewear, use this guide and review the eyewear description and materials. Pay attention to: • excellent fit and eye coverage • offers a good field of vision • adjustable to improve fit Checklist Selecting the right model No uncomfortable pressure points on the side of the head or behind the ears. The nose pad is comfortable and lies on your nose without pinching. You should be able to see in all directions without your vision being obstructed. The overall weight of the safety eyewear is distributed evenly. The eyewear fits close to your face without touching your eyelashes.
