State-of-the-art technologies, specialist expertise in injection moulding and highly qualified employees ensure the most stringent safety and quality standards are met. From an idea to a finished product uvex Lederdorn is synonymous with first-class development and production expertise. The site encompasses the entire value creation chain: from the initial idea for a product, to intensive research and development, right through to manufacturing using state-of-the-art production methods. Our production site boasts equipment such as an automated coating line, granulate silo systems and three new injection moulding machines. Automated precision, hand-finished perfection Although many of the processes at the site are automated, the experience of our employees is absolutely indispensable, especially when it comes to the 200 required routine manual interventions, for example when assembling the uvex forestry set and inserting the suspension harness into the helmets. Focus on sustainability Manufacturing the helmets in Germany ensures sustainable, resource-saving production and short transport distances. We are continually optimising our materials and production processes so that we can further improve our energy efficiency and therefore pursue our goal of having a green footprint.
